PBS Short Film Festival
For eight years, I was part of the small but mighty team that worked on the PBS Short Film Festival each summer. This multiplatform film festival celebrates independent films and filmmaking and elevates diverse stories and filmmakers. In 2022, the PBS Short Film Festival won two Webby Awards.
During my time on the team, I conceptualized and spearheaded the launch of the festival's Behind the Lens blog, which included in depth interviews, features, personal essays and more from our filmmakers and partners to give the audience a behind-the-scenes look at the filmmaking process and those featured in the films. In addition to this, I supported film review and production of the festival’s former companion website.

Viewing Party Kit
During my time working on the festival, I collaborated with the Digital Design team to create the festival's first viewing party kit to provide to partners, stations and viewers.
This kit included ideas for hosting a viewing party, discussion questions, streaming information, invitations, and recipes. The kit later served as a guide for future viewing kits for PBS shows.
I oversaw the content to be included in the kit, wrote all copy, and led the creative review when working with our lead designer.
