GIPHY Production
During my time at PBS, I led our partnership with GIPHY across all production for PBS show content on the General Audience GIPHY channel. This included strategy, editorial review, and rollout for hundreds of GIFs.
This partnership led to the channel's growth to 8+ billion views and helped surface PBS content for discovery across GIPHY search. GIPHY's search engine reaches users across TikTok, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Stories, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Slack, and more.
These GIFs were used for PBS.org articles, episode recaps, GIPHY stories, and across social platforms in promotion of our shows. They were also provided to PBS member stations and show talent for their use.
Additionally, through our partnership with GIPHY and in collaboration with the BBC, Neal Street Productions, and PBS Digital Design, we created a sticker pack for “Call the Midwife” on the PBS GIPHY channel. These stickers have resulted in millions of views.
